MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN OF HADLEY PLANNING BOARD

AUGUST 6, 2012

 

 

 

The regular meeting of the Town of Hadley Planning Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Lynn Waite. Those present were Lynn Waite, Kathy St.John, James Bennett, Clifford Johnsen, Blue Neils and Attorney Johnson.

 

Clifford Johnsen made a motion to approve the July 2, 2012 meeting minutes, seconded by James Bennett, all in favor.

 

J Col Holdings LLC, Gerald and Coleen Flynn presented a Subdivision Application requesting approval for a five (5) lot subdivision located at 6148 route 9N, Haley, NY 12835, Tax Map #46-1-22.  After review of the application, the board questioned where and how old the septic system was for the current dwelling. Mr. Flynn advised the Board that the existing septic system for the current dwelling has been located and appears to be about ten years old. Attorney Johnson advised the applicants that any proposed deed restrictions, the board would need to obtain a copy. Applicant was advised if and upon final approval, a recreation fee would be assessed and due at that time. The board agreed to waive the soil condition requirements based on the information that has been provided in the application.

 

Clifford Johnsen made a motion to accept J Col Holdings LLC application as complete and schedule a public hearing for September 10, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., seconded by Blue Niels, all in favor.

 

Ronald J Tucker presented for the second time a Subdivision Application requesting approval for a two (2) lot subdivision for property located at 14 Bunzey Mountain Rd., Hadley, NY 12835, Tax Map # 46-1-51.3. After review, the board determined that the application for the second time is still incomplete. Mr. Tucker will need to provide the following documentation:

     1 Needs APA Project Permit that agrees with applicants application

     2 Survey Map needs contour lines, proposed septic, well and driveways

Survey map was returned to applicant.

 

James Bennett advised that he has received a complaint regarding the white water rafting sign that has been placed on property just over the bridge next to the Town's Fowler lot property. Attorney Johnson advised that she will speak with the Town Supervisor regarding the complaint.

 

Blue Neils made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:55 p.m., seconded by James Bennett, all in favor.
