Meeting of the Hadley Town Board, held at theHadley Town Hall, 4 Stony Creek Road, Hadley NY at 7 PM January 9th2020

Highway Superintendent: Andrew Gilbert
A Public Hearing had been scheduled for 6:45PM for a 5 year Plan for the Town of Hadley Section 8 Housing Choice VoucherProgram. No questions were asked. ThePublic Hearing was closed at 6:47PM.
RESOLUTION# 19 was made by a motion from Charles Ovitt secondedby Colleen DeMarsh.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board ofthe Town of Hadley hereby have audited all vouchers and all were approved. AllAyes

RESOLUTION # 20 was made by a motion from Charles Ovitt seconded by ColleenDeMarsh
BEIT RESOLVED thatthe Town Board of the Town of Hadley have audited all vouchers and all wereapproved for payment. All Ayes.

PUBLIC COMMENTS ADDRESSED TO THETOWN BOARD AT THIS TIME
DouglasDutcher informed the Town Board that there will be a breakfast held at the Hadley-LuzerneFirehouse on Sunday and all proceeds will be donated for Connor Ives needs.Also there will be gift baskets at all basketball games at the Hadley Luzernebasketball game and also the Longhorn will hold dinner on February 9thfor Connor also.
Mrs.Susan Wilder reminded everyone about the Maple Festival which will take placeon April 25th & 26th. It will be here before we knowit.
HighwaySuperintendent Andrew Gilbert discussed installing a box on the truck purchasedfrom the Town of Saratoga. Also # 411 will be used for recyclables.
SupervisorWright informed the Town Board that the Highway Garage would be switchingInternet services to Road Runner as this will save the Town $40.00 per monthand will be a better system.
SupervisorWright also informed the Town Board that ¾ of the new computers have beeninstalled. We have a few glitches but they are coming back next week to finishthe job and will make sure all is good.
CouncilmanOvitt asked Highway Superintendent if he would like to have his office tohimself as the computer for SW1, SW2 and Sewer is in his office. Afterdiscussing this matter, a new Internet line would have to be installed in Water2 Office and will be an extra expense. This matter will be discussed at a latertime.
CouncilmanOvitt also asked how much it would cost to have the Highway Superintendent’sold computer which they are taking out and replacing it with a new one, hookedup so the mechanic can use for repairs on town equipment and he was informed itwould cost $4,200.
RESOLUTION #21 was made by a motion from CharlesOvitt seconded by Colleen DeMarsh.
WHEREAS, the Town of Hadley operates aSection 8 Housing Choice Voucher Programfunded by the U.S. Department, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Hadley is required by the U.S. Department ofHousing and Urban Development to prepare and adopt a written PHA Plan thatestablishes local policies for administration of the Section 8 Housing ChoiceVoucher Program in accordance with regulations of the U.S Department of Housingand Urban Development, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town ofHadley has caused a written PHA Plan to be prepared established local policiesfor administration of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program inaccordance with regulation of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development,and has reviewed such written plan,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Townof Hadley adopts the Five Year PHA Plan starting in 2020 for operation of theTown of Hadley Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program

RESOLUTION # 23 was made by a motion fromColleen DeMarsh seconded by Charles Ovitt.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Hadley haveaudited the books for the Bookkeeper and all is satisfactory. All Ayes.
RESOLUTION # 24 was made by a motion fromColleen DeMarsh seconded by Charles Ovitt.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Hadley haveaudited the books for the Town Clerk and all was satisfactory. All Ayes.
RESOLUTION # 25 was made by a motion fromCharles Ovitt seconded by Colleen DeMarsh.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Hadley herebyextends permission to the Highway Superintendent to provide them with specs fora new box for the truck they previously discussed. All Ayes.
