RESOLUTION # 19 was made by a motion from Carl Lawrence seconded by Charles Ovitt.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Hadley Town Board have audited all pre- paid vouchers and all have been approved. All Ayes
General: Abs. #53=$90,000.00 Highway: Abs. #25=$121,950.00 SW2: Abs. #27=$25,000.00
RESOLUTION #20 was made by a motion from Charles Ovitt seconded by Carl Lawrence.

TOWN BOARD'S FOLDER'S: Supervisor's monthly report, Building Inspector's report, Senior's monthly report, Planning Board meeting minutes, Town Board Minutes of 12-12-2013, 12-30-2013 and 01-02-2014. Water 1, Water2 and Sewer are on file in the Town Clerk's Office for review. Maxfield Food Pantry 2013 Annual Report.
Public Comments:
Mrs. Bea Mosher inquired about the Tower for phone service in Northern Saratoga area and Supervisor Wright informed her that Assemblyman Dan Stec and the County Board of Supervisors are still working on it but ATT and Verizon are not investing in new equipment at this time.
Mrs. Susan Wilder informed the Town Board about the Hadley Business Association Annual Meeting to be held at the Hadley Senior/Community Center on Friday January 23rd. A covered dish dinner will be served at 6PM. Those with the last name begins with A-I are asked to bring a salad or vegetable and the names starting with J-R a vegetable and S-Z to bring a desert. The Association is providing the meat. All new and soon to be members are invited.
Mrs. Wilder also stated that the 5th Annual Community Mix was going to be held on February 4th at Mollie's Mason Jar Restaurant starting at 5PM. All First Wilderness Heritage Corridor organizations, civic groups, church leaders and local officials are invited to attend to celebrate and appreciate the leadership and natural resources of our community. Those wishing to tell about their organizations dreams, goals and successes will be give 3 minutes and 3 feet to share. Displays will be set up around the room (3' table space) and the microphone will be passed (3 minute conversation)
Mrs. Wilder also asked everyone to mark their calendars for the 10th Annual Maple in the April Festival on Saturday April 26th and 27th 2014 along Rockwell Street and the Sam Smead Memorial Park.
Mr. Clinton Carlton stated that the newly elected Highway Superintendent was doing a real good job.
Mrs. Veronica Shuman asked when the Recycling Center would be opened 7 days a week and she was informed that in a couple of weeks as they are starting the interviews on Monday January 13th. She also asked when this position was advertised as she had not seen it and she was informed this was advertised in the Pennysaver News.
Supervisor's report: Supervisor Wright stated that he had been contacted by the Lake Luzerne Maxfield Food Pantry and that they are requesting help to pick up the food in Hudson Falls twice per month and were hoping that the Town of Hadley Highway could provide them that help. The Town Attorney will research this and inform the Supervisor if that is something the Town can provide.
Mr. Freemont Young volunteered to help with his own vehicle and so did Councilman Carl Lawrence.
Highway Superintendent Andrew Gilbert stated that he is in the process of acquiring information needed to purchase a generator for Water 2.
RESOLUTION # 21 was made by a motion from Charles Ovitt seconded by Carl Lawrence.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Hadley Town Board has approved the purchase of a generator in the amount of approximately $16,000.00 up to $17,000.00 possibly with warranties. All Ayes.
Motion was made by Charles Ovitt seconded by Colleen DeMarsh extending permission to the Highway Superintendent to acquire the information necessary to provide the Town Board with a set of specs for a new truck. All Ayes.
Town Clerk's report: Revenues: $209.00 Disbursements: $121.21 Supervisor $29.29 DEC $21.00 Ag. & Markets $15.00 Comptroller's Office $22.50 Dept. of Health
Also a check was provide to the Supervisor for the interest collected in the Town Clerk's Account in the amount of $3.48 and also a check in the amount of .69 for interest in the DEC account for the year 2013.
RESOLUTION # 22 was made by a motion from Charles Ovitt seconded by Carl Lawrence.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Hadley Town Board have audited the books from the Town Clerk for the year 2013 and all was in order. All Ayes.
RESOLUTION # 23 was made by a motion from Carl Lawrence seconded by James Brewster.
BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE Hadley Town Board have audited the Bookkeeper's books for the year 2013 and all was in order. All Ayes.
Motion was made by James Brewster seconded by Charles Ovitt to adjourn this meeting at 7:32PM. All Ayes.
