July 12th the Board shall hold a workshop on the Town's Employee's Manual at 5:30PM at the Hadley Town Hall.
Highway Superintendent explained to the Town Board about the new scales. They will be in operation within the next couple of weeks. The Town board will meet at the Highway Garage at 5PM, Monday, August 16th to review the process.
South Hadley Water Plant was discussed.
Mr. Albert Zimmerman attended a meeting with the Supervisor and they received a map and literature pertaining to the dams.
Bill Baker, Administrator for Self Insurance through Saratoga County, provided information to the Town pertaining to the dress code (shorts) protective equipment and long pants.
The $100,000 from Teresa Sayward has been received and it was suggested that the funds stay in the Highway account for repairs on the Garage.
Resolution to be considered for the July 12th Town Board meeting:
Resolution to close out roof capital once all bills have been paid
Resolution to move the remaining money to current reserve or fund balance.
Councilwoman DeMarsh stated that she had spoken to Mrs. Kipp coordinator of the Soccer Team and she was informed that all lines, equipment sand the insurance would be paid by the organization.
The wall on Rockwell Street was discussed again and a call will be made to Mr. Ritchie to find out who owns it.
Councilman Wright asked when the crosswalk would be done on Rockwell Street and he was informed within the next week.
Councilwoman DeMarsh made a motion to go into Executive Session
Ms. Katherine Austin stated that Councilwoman Wilder should not be allowed to go into the Executive Session unless Ms. Lanfear was present and also could attend this meeting.
Ms. Austin was informed that Councilwoman Wilder was a Board Member and could attend.
After a long discussion:
Motion was made by Colleen DeMarsh to go in Executive Session concerning Personnel. She was asked for what reason and the Board was informed that she had asked for an incident report for the event which had taken place in the Town Hall on June 21st. She stated that that was all that was going to take place. Councilwoman DeMarsh was informed that she did not have to go into Executive Session for that reason that this can be stated in the meeting minutes that she has received these documents from the Town Clerk, therefore Councilwoman DeMarsh withdrew her motion.
Councilwoman Wilder made a motion to go into Executive Session to discuss the event which took place. None of the Town Board members seconded. After a few moments of silence Councilwoman Wilder thanked the members of the Board for their support.
